Getting involved is a great way to meet other Aleph families, to engage in your child’s learning experience, to support our wonderful Morahs and to be part of what makes Aleph Academy great!
Our event list below is packed with events that will be fun and enriching for the entire family. Sneak read at what to expect. We hope for your involvement in bringing them to fruition.
Yard Day
This will arguably be our most fun volunteer day. Spruce up our huge outdoor play space, build new structures, fix existing structures, garden, etc. Snacks and sandwiches will be provided. Opportunities: Develop ideas, plan and prep, purchase supplies, snack/lunch prep, gardening, clean up.
Family Shabbat Dinner
School-wide family Shabbat dinner! We will all share in the Shabbat meal, kiddos will have playtime and adults can participate in our Shabbat customs. Opportunities: planning, purchase supplies, set-up and clean up.
Grandparents/Special Person Day Thanksgiving Celebration
Grandparents or special friends visit school, participate in a classroom activity, share a school-wide meal and sing songs. Opportunities: Planning, shopping, decor, food prep, greeter, set-up and clean up.
Chanukah Party
This is a fun evening celebration at school. We share in a meal, have latkes and light the menorahs that each child will make in class. Opportunities: planning, purchase supplies, set-up and clean up.
The BIG Event
We aim to start having an annual fundraiser. Bringing together familes, donors and friends of Aleph. Stay tuned.
Graduation/End of Year
Celebrate the graduation of our five year olds and look back on a wonderful year at Aleph Academy. Opportunities: planning, purchase supplies, set-up and clean up.
